Michael is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. He has a strong background in rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and massage therapy, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and neurological physiotherapy.
Before and alongside his physiotherapy training, Michael gained extensive experience as an exercise professional. He holds advanced qualifications in exercise referral, cancer and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, obesity, diabetes management, and sports massage. This foundation has shaped his holistic and functional approach to treatment.
Michael’s clinical experience spans acute care, MSK outpatients, community rehabilitation, and gym-based settings. He has worked across cardiorespiratory and cancer rehabilitation, falls prevention, weight management, and medical exercise referral, contributing to multidisciplinary care within several NHS services.
With a background in behaviour change coaching and specialist exercise instruction, Michael aims to empower patients to understand their condition, build confidence in movement, and take an active role in their recovery. His approach is hands-on, evidence-based, and centred around long-term wellbeing, independence, and meaningful function.
Outside of clinical practice, Michael enjoys strength training and CrossFit. His passion for rehabilitation underpins his belief in helping people feel stronger, more capable, and in control of their health.
